Default Information needed

I got a sabre saw from my neighbor because he was going to take it to the junk yard. I would like any information on this sabre saw if anyone knows anything about it. Here is the information on the saw:

Ram Sabre Saw, 2.4 Amps, 115V. AC-DC
Model No. R-44-122074
Ram Tool Corporation, Chicago 12, ILL

Other then the above information it is all metal and I plugged it in and it ran. Again any info about this saw would be great.

Thanks,

Looks like what they call a "vintage tool." For today's practitioners, it is not worth anything. Sorry to be blunt, but its best days were in the 1960's. I'd rather have a quality BOSCH.

Enjoy what you got for free!

Hide between the floor joists for someone to find in fifty years, it might be worth something to the finder.

I don't care if it is worth anything or not. I thought it was unique looking so I saved it from the scrap yard. So with that said I would still like to know something about it other then it a vintage tool.
