Hi Everyone

There are faucets on top of the bathtub. Just wondering if I should caulk around where the faucet meets the bathtub?

Thanks a lot!

There probably already is a gasket or plumbers putty underneath, but wouldn't hurt at all to put a very thin bead of caulk around them.

Piper is right . . . proper installation includes a gasket that seals the faucet. No additoinal caulk is typically required. As a precaution, I usually put a thin bead of silicone under the gasket . . . but that is my over-building instinct! :)

yeah, dont bother.

adding more caulk would look messy, and also make it difficult if you ever wanted to replace the faucet
