Default Driveway Sealer

Gave the driveway a good power wash today and was wondering if buying the sealant at a local store IE: Lowes etc is a better option than having someone do it. Is the quality any different or is it all the same. The reviews for products at places like Home Depot don't look very good.

FWIW, I did this years ago "professionally" as a helper. We would add to each 5 gal, 1 gal builders sand plus 2 gallons water to the cheap stuff. It produced a durable surface with a non-slip finish. The results were better than the "premium" stuff at HD or Lowes.

Sealing a driveway not only extends it service life, it will also improve the appearance of decorative concrete by enhancing the color and gloss.Applying sealer to a driveway is not difficult, and in most cases a standard residential driveway can be sealed in less than a day.
