Hello! I have an interesting problem. Sorry, no picture though! Hopefully my descriptions helps:
On the front of my house I have t1-11 siding on the top, resting on a brick ledge that carries down to the foundation. The t1-11 has sunk into the brick ledge and the metal flashing has bulged up and allows a nice valley for water to collect in it. The flashing is all bent up, split, and isn't doing the job it's supposed to.
I was thinking to buzz off 3" of the T1-11, remove flashing, add a new horizontal trim board and flash behind it up behind the t1? any ideas?
Thanks!
