I have one room in my basement that will be a home theater room. I have 2 pipes in that room that will require me to frame around. I plan to just make pillar looking things on those 2 spots, then pillars on the other side of the room to match (4 in total). I want to put wall lights on those pillars, but want to make sure that is OK per code. I'm very new to this and am in the very early figuring it out stages. But I would have about 4" clearance in front of the pipe, its a plastic PVC drain pipe.
