Default Inlaid louvre oak ventilation vents

My brother asked me to find him some inlaid register vents for his new floors. I guess there was a specific place in my town that he thought sold them. Nothing in stock, I had to go to their distributor the next town over.

Darn things look like they will be nice. Any tips on installing them though? Do they just go in like a floor section?

Glad to be here.

I've seen them installed with picture frame boards around them. I would ask in our HVAC forum, if they reduce the air flow as they are 3 times thicker at the louvers which may/not be affecting the balanced system. Be safe, G
