Default Hello from BC Rockies - log house

thirty years ago I built a "temporary log house/future workshop" - we still live there. Originally we had no electricity or plumbing but are "modern" now. We are located at the foot of the beautiful BC Rocky Mts on 160 acres, which we are dividing half into 5 acre parcels to sell for our retirement income.

the house, of course, was not wired or plumbed when I built it so when we did get each I had to make-do the best I could on a limited budget. We are comfortable but have unique problems. I hope to have feedback from all of you on some of these, and maybe my "been-there-done-that" experience can help others.
Cheers - Rusty

I did a remodel on a log cabin several years ago. Plumbing and electrical are fun to deal with and trim is fun too!

Welcome to the forum Rusty.
