Default Cold Air Return Line Has Fallen

About 5 feet of our cold air return just dropped to the floor. It is so heavy. How do we go about reattaching it? Thank you.

That's weird. Usually there are splines that hold the sections together and support straps that are screwed into the sides of the duct with the other end screwed to joists.
You can lift it back into place, install some metal strapping to keep it in place and the use metal tape to seal the joints.
