I'm married with two young kids and a 107-year-old American Four Square home. Located in Ontario, Canada. Working on a slate roof repair on the rear dormer at the moment. I look forward to chatting with everyone and learning.

Welcome. I helped my parents renovate a 1900ish house in south central Pennsylvania in the 1980s. That cured me of This Old House fever. I wouldn't mind doing one, as long as I didn't have to live in it while I did it.

Welcome to the forum. I’m on my second circa 1870 house now. I have never messed around with a slate roof but there are still a few in our little town. Most are high and steep and slippery 3 things I no longer do.
