Ordered some Marvin elevate replacement windows, and discovered that salesperson didnt account for my sloped sill. So the windows are a tight fit, but doable with some additional sanding of the sill/etc.
Here's my question: what's the best way to deal with this gap below the window, while still taking advantage of sloped sill/allowing water to drain out?
I was thinking about shimming underneath, then putting some quad window caulk between the shims, making sure to leave a few small gaps/weep holes to let water out. The window in the pic is a casement, but also have a double hung to install with same issue.
any better ideas out there? --much appreciated
