I'm redoing the kitchen in our house built in the 90s. The outside walls have the vapor barrier and the ceiling did as well, but we had to bring down the sheetrock, insulation, and barrier for some other work. I'm putting back up the vapor barrier on the ceiling and want to know if there is a specific way to tie in the barrier at the corner between the wall and the ceiling. The barrier for the wall is tucked under the roof trusses, so I wonder if I just need to tape between the ceiling and wall barriers. TIA

Just spoke to one of the inspectors and found out that, yes, I can tape the seam between the wall and ceiling barriers. Also found that I'm using thicker plastic than is required, but I'm good with that.
