Rug cleaning

Hi, I have a light-colored rug that has some sound-in spots. Very tough to get out. If anyone has tactics, I'd love some advice.

I usually use a carpet cleaner/extractor for the ones I have at home. If you don't have that at your disposal you can follow this guide: https://www.homedepot.com/c/ah/how-to-clean-a-rug/
