Where to find quality screws.

No, I do NOT mean that. Get your mind out of the gutter.

It seems a lot of hardware is made out of low quality metal. I am planning to install a couple of 4 inch screws in door hinge and expect they will undergo a LOT of torque. Stripping the head would be bad and twisting it off would be disaster. Anyone know a seller of high quality screws? Thanks.

I always enjoy stumpy. Some of those heads look thick and might not sit flat in a hinge. Pre-drilling sure seems like a good idea.

I have ordered lots of hardware from McMaster Carr over the years. They will carry all grades of screws and show you dimensions of head sizes and such.
