Window pane gap on one side!

I have a large picture window 68" x 65". It seems that somehow it has shifted to the left (from in the house looking outward). Is this even possible? or was it not installed correctly? We have lived here for 7 seven years without any leaks or water issues. Today I power washed the window to clean it, and in doing so I blew out some of the insulation on one side of the window (left looking in, right looking out). If you look at the closeup photos that include my fingers the water flashing can be pushed right past the edge of the glass. The only thing I could think of was to buy some window suction cups to hopefully move the whole pane over so it at least gets just past the edge of the glass. I'm really handy, but have no experience with windows. Am I on the right track here thinking I can simply the pane from one side to the other? Thank you.

Wait for others to comment. But in my case I already have these for use in the shower so I would give it a try. Amazon

It does look like it has shifted over and I would think the seal would be enough to prevent that from happening. The pressure washer at an angle could have maybe pushed the glass over.



First thing I would try is open the double hung on the other side and see if you can put a hand on both sides and wiggle it back in place. Maybe a person on both sides working together. if the friction doesn’t work then a couple suction cups.



If all fails maybe you will need to remove some of the frame and reset the glass or add another flashing over the one that is now short and seal it in.
