Does anyone have experience repairing cool deck patio? It is about 30 years old, and a small section is cracking and separating right next to the pool! How to reinforce (even if it isn't pretty for now). I don't want it to get any worse.

Yes, I am working on stopping the erosion with a French drain (but having a hard time digging the trench in the hard ground). And also extending the spout so it doesn't land on the post. Would adding concrete on top also help with the erosion? Or would gravel be enough?
