    Kitchen sink replacement nightmare

It just keeps getting better. So I found a sink with dimensions that I thought I could make work. It was still a bit bigger than my cut out but it was close and had a particular clip design that I thought I could modify easily to make work. I did see different dimensions for the same part...

    Kitchen sink replacement nightmare

I have a quote from a local granite company to cut the hole and it isn't bad. However, after days of searching, I may have found a drop in stainless that should fit in the hole I have as it is using a different style of clip. It is on order and should be in next week so we shall see.

    Kitchen sink replacement nightmare

Thank you for all of the replies. I have priced out buying a grinder and blade to do this; I already own a shop vac. I am fairly handy and normally do not shy away from a project, especially when I get to buy new tools but for some reason I am still hesitant on this one. We are reaching out...

    Kitchen sink replacement nightmare

Hello. My home was built in 1988 and the kitchen remodeled sometime after that; roughly 2000 I would assume. Everything was replaced then (cabinets, granite countertops, all fixtures.) The sink is a white american standard 33x22 composite of some sort (not cast iron) that has seen better...

    Home voltage fluctuations/breakers tripping

Surprisingly they came out the same day. I wasn't home when they came out but I did come home to a tag on my door saying they found an issue with their equipment and this thing attached to my meter. There is a tag on the back of this that says "bad neutral." This is a temp fix; they are supposed...

    Home voltage fluctuations/breakers tripping

Thank you for all of the great suggestions. My power company has been called and they said someone would be out in the next few days to check things outside. After that, I will see what they say and decide where I go next.

    Home voltage fluctuations/breakers tripping

Not on the right side. There are 2 banks there, an upper and a lower. Only one neutral per screw there. The bottom one is making contact with both banks though. Not sure that would make a difference. On the left side though, the second neutral from the top is multiple conductors in one...

    Home voltage fluctuations/breakers tripping

I took the panel cover off again just to inspect things visually. Picture attached. Probably hard to see, but does anything stand out?

    Home voltage fluctuations/breakers tripping

Thanks. I recently learned I know an electrician. Spoke to him briefly and a loose neutral was the first thing he thought. I have a few things to check out now at the panel. I am really hoping that is it and that I don't have to go through each outlet/switch individually.

    Home voltage fluctuations/breakers tripping

I just started having some random electrical issues in a home I have lived in for 4 years. Some details: Lived in home for 4 years, no electrical issues until this point. Home built in 1991. All outlets and switches replaced in year 1 as they were original and the dated off-white color. All...

    System not functioning together

Thanks, I did this last night. Fan and condenser turned on every time when connecting R to G and Y1.

    System not functioning together

Central Florida. Home was built in 93, both the air handler and condenser were replaced in 2010-2011 before I bought the house. The thermostat may or may not be original...not sure but it is a pretty basic piece. No issues until last light...which I am sure you get a lot here :) I do try to...

    Help with downspout drainage issues

Apologies, I thought you were correcting me. I too think this is the best method and like I said this isn't the first time it has been suggested. I have more or less convinced myself I will be doing this even though I don't "want" to do it lol. The reason I don't want to do it is because of...

    Help with downspout drainage issues

The patio has a channel drain that runs the length of the patio and exits at both sides. The pool area is sloped to that on one side and the patio is sloped to it as well on the other side making a V essentially. I do have a 12x12 catch basin that I put in (replaces the small one shown in my...
