I have motion detectors with my alarm and they seem to always go off ... even if the alarm is not enabled and I am walking around the house. My security provider checked it out and said that it wasn't a problem with the sensors. Am I being played for a fool?
If there is an odor to the dust/dirt then I would honestly call someone to have that checked out. It may be residual dust but you wouldn't want to take that risk.
Does anyone know how accurate the laser line things are? Better yet, what are they called? It's the gadget that shines a laser that's supposed to allow you to work in a straight line.
I have to agree that wall-papering seems like a more permanent decor than painting. I would paint and perhaps stensil or even use the borders - these are easier to change when he gets older. But congratulations on your baby boy.
If you decide to go for the bug free spray I would highly recommend using a face mask. I have never personally used it but I have heard that it has odors and you wouldn't really want to be inhaling all those chemicals!
Does anyone have any information that would help me to sell my house faster and for a better price? It almost seems like a waste to do any major repairs when I'm selling it but if I get a better price that might be worth it. Should I redecorate? Fix? Clean? Landscape?
I'm wondering more how it will hold up ... is it really that expensive to re-tile your floors? I was thinking about doing that but have not really looked into it yet.
What do people think of those doors sold at Lowes that have children cartoons on one side and a solid color on the other? I wonder how hard it is to install and if worth it when my kids will probably grow out of it so fast ...
