    CORRECT way to measure for Replacement Windows?

    My thought was to remove the trim and measure the window itself. But as I am writing this I can not remember if there is interior trim. In that case would I just measure the interior of the window opening? NEED to make sure I get this right!! LOL Don't want windows that don't work! Thank You:eek:

    What is the PROPER/BEST/MOST ACCURATE way to measure for replace windows. My THOUGHT is to remove the trim,(it will all be replaced anyway) and measure the rough opening? I don't want to measure the windows, order them, pay for them, then find out I screwed everything up.!

    Antique look cabinets?

    Are you referring to the crackle look? It is called crackle paint. You would first paint your base color, (what you want to show through. Then paint with the crackle, (the more you use the more it cracks) Then apply your final color, (white in this case) and you will see it crackle.

    I have heard ALOT about this TSP, what exactly is it? Does it really work that well? I have never removed the wallpaper in any house I have been in, afraid to find out I couldnt get the glue off and then it would look worse that what I already have.
