This problem damaged my hardwood floors.Ice maker hose leaking. I can not get the copper compression union to firmly stay on supply line. When I turn water on it falls off. I tried to attach two pictures. If this shows up twice, I am still new at this forum.

Moisture is the problem. Thank you for your response. Slide the refrigerator out, the hose from the ice maker had been leaking. I guess I will have the floor company out to replace the damaged boards. Thanks again.

2 year old hardwood floor has several boards that now have raised edges. I have a house humidifier to prevent drying. Could these be bad boards and what should I do? Should boards be replaced? The rest of the floor is smooth.

I am going to pull up the flooring and will need to get those nails out. What is the name of the special tool. Will decide what to do with the floor when t is up. Thanks for the information.

I started to remove the vinyl flooring and the pad under neath it in my kitchen. This flooring is on top of nice hard wood floor. I can not get the tack type nails out of the floor left from the base pad from under vinyl floor. Is there anyway to get them out? Pulling with pliers is not working.
