I want to remove a glass fire place door that has a brass frame around it. My question is basically what am in for? The fireplace is brick so I assume there will be holes in the brick. Should I expect some type of glue as well? How should I start? Any help will be much appreciated.
Is there any way to separate the smoked glass front and the actual oven door so I can clean between them? Here's a picture of the oven.
Thanks.

Just wanted to close out this discussion. Thanks for all the input. You can not find furniture grade on treated pine 4x4s too many places in northeast Georgia. I found them at one mill about an hour from where I love. I am making a couple if these farmers tables. The first one I made before I...
So I didn't realize how hard it would be to find non-pressure treated 4x4s. I want to use them as legs for a farm house table I am making. Does anyone know where I can get them or if they exist? I can find pressure treated but that would not match the rest of the table when I stain it.

Thanks Neal. I am making a farm house table for my son and his wife. I want to be sure the legs are braced properly.

Help. I need either 5 or 6 inch flat head wood screws and I can't find them anywhere. Can someone point me in the right direction?
