    Plasma TV Color Issues

30 lashes for not getting a warranty, and 30 more lashes for buying a plasma, lol, you would have been better off with an LCD. I am assuming you went into the setup menu and adjusted the color and picture settings to your satisfaction. If you did this and you still have issues, i suggest you go...

    Television safety question

If you touch the television do you get a shock as well; or is it only when you touch the DVD player? Also, is there another power outlet you can try? Maybe with an extension cord.

    Lennox A/C condensor fan motor

-Lower the set point on the t'stat so the unit will call for cooling. -Measure the voltage on the coil of the contactor to be sure you are getting 24VAC. -Then puch the contactor and release it and see if it stays in. If it does thne there may be a VA porblem, where the current is not enough...

    Lennox A/C condensor fan motor

GWS It may also be a good idea to verify the VA or load voltage rating on the transformer. If it is too low, this could be the cause of your woes.

    Newbie Question Please help!!!!

Also, it is a good idea to check the transformer. I would check both the primary and the secondary side. It is possible that the wires could have shorted out and blew the transformer.

Glenn is correct. With that voltage you will need a double pole stat. Let me know how it worksk out. Thanks.

    Thermostat issue on baseboard heater

Is your thermostat and mechanical or electronic thermostat? If it is electroninc it requires a ground or neutral. If you replaced both the heater and the stat I'm thinking that the problem is the wires; provided of course that both devices are operating on the correct and same power.

    carrier central unit

Did you check the contactor. The only way the fan will run is if the contactor is energized. Something has to be keeping the contactor engaged. I would check the contactor to see if it is pulled in. it is possible that the contactor is bad. Let me know wht you find. Thanks

    Wireless Thermostats

Has anyone had any experience with a residential wireless thermostats/sensors? I have two thermostats in the house and the locations are really bad. I can't run any wires without causing serious damage. Do they even make residential wireless sensors? I know they have them for commercial...

    carrier central unit

Does the fan ever shut off or is it running all the time? If it shuts off It may be a time delay relay in there that allows the fan to run for some time to remove any residual heat. If it runs all the time then i would agree with glennjanie that there may be a short.

Unit Backfires when heat comes on.

Well it turned out that the burners were clogged and needed cleaning. $275.00 later and my problem is fixed. Something I could have probably done myself, but at least my girfriend can sleep comfortably now. This was also causing the pilot light to go out. Until my other HVAC issues arise...

Unit Backfires when heat comes on.

I am having two issues with my unit. For starters the pilot light won't stay lit, but it is intermittant. Secondly, when the flame ignites the unit seems to backfire, (a big flame spits out). How do I address this issue? Thanking you in advance.
