I don't own one myself, but my neighbor does, and he is the reason I would not purchase one. It has a very limited diameter capacity. It's basically a high priced, gimmicky pruner. I have a hand lopper and pole pruner that will do all the same jobs as the alligator and faster.

Raven,
If you have Microsoft works there should be a template for home repair projects in that. There are three templates under "Home and Money" and then "home improvement Worksheets". There is a home improvement budget, a home maintenance record, and a work record. You can use the original...
Spyder,
There is a product called the Magic Miter that is fantastic. My wife purchased one for me last year because I am installing crown moulding in the basement. I'm normally not a "gadget" person, but the miter is a great idea. It uses a corner template to measure the angle of each corner...
Thanks for the info. That makes my decision for me, and I will have an inspector come out when I get done. I have more respect (fear) for electricity than I do for my table saw, or even (please don't repeat this) my wife.
I'm getting ready to run electricity to my outbuilding. It is already wired, I've just got to supply the juice. Here is my question. Would it be better to run a subpanel from the house panel or install a panel and drop power straight from the pole? I have a 200 amp panel with 3 empty slots for...
I have had both gas and a heat pump. Stick with the gas. You can maintain a comfort level and can heat your home much faster. If your winters are cold, you will regret the heat pump.

It's not the fault of the cats. Their just doing what comes naturally. It's the irresponsible owners. I don't care much for cats, but I also don't that they should pay for the carelessness of their owners. The Sprinkler would be hilarious.
Also, I'm a firm believer in payback. Using a rubber...
MDF is great for alot of things, but I can attest that it is awful for any use where it will come in contact with moisture on a regular basis. The marine grade plywood is a great choice.
