I just dug out the foundation for a 300 sq ft patio and ready to pour sand and lay the pavers.
I live in an area where it has afternoon t-storms almost every other day (although we had a 3-day stretch of no rain) and I'm afraid to pour the sand since there's no way I can get it done in a...
I'm building concrete stairs about 7 feet wide and going down 3 feet so about 3-4 steps. That would be a lot of concrete to pour so can I put bricks or cinderblocks in the form to take up the volume?
I know people pour dirt when building a concrete slab... I don't think that would work for...
I would love to tear down this little wall. I know it's not structural but have no idea why the builders put it there. I was thinking perhaps plumbing ran down but it's just a bedroom directly above it (pics below).

I'm looking to purchasing a house without a garage and saw that pre built garages were or garage kits were much more affordable than building a garage from ground up.
Anybody here have any experience with these garages? Are they just as good as any garage built by a contractor or are they...

My guess is prime first, paint some bricks dark and paint it all over in a thin coat of beige/cream?
I am about to purchase a home that has a funky bedroom. The previous owner put square wooden panels. At first I thought it was unique but now I'm starting to think it's weird and probably will tear it down.
If you disagree, please give a reason or an alternative idea as to why I should keep...
