    Diesel Generators

How often do you anticipate power outages? You have to consider that diesel and natural gas generators are only intended for short periods, and also the fuel goes bad after awhile. If you're in one of those snowy places where the power goes out for a long time during blizzards, you might also...

    Dangerous insulation?

I don't think I'd advise handling or working in a room with exposed fiberglass without a mask. Suffice it to say, it's probably best to avoid breathing in tiny particles of glass.

    A house made of straw

What's everyone's take on using non-traditional materials for construction? There's a group in my city that creates sustainable housing for low-income families, and also works to make the homes energy efficient and more eco-friendly. Paint Color Advice?

^^^Agree- a light yellow would be a compliment to a purplish gray, and is a nice, warm "kitchen" color.

    Paint Color For Bedroom

You could also try a lighter shade of blue, and add some furnishings with a yellow tone to create a contrast.

Need help painting clouds, or wall stickers?

You can also get some neat effects with a spray gun or a can of spray paint (though probably a bit trickier than a rag).

My living is room is a disaster

All that stuff around the TV- the wires, the CDS, etc. contributes to the visual clutter. A real entertainment center would unify that area, hide all the wires, and offer some nice shelving to stow your CDS and DVDs. Now- that's not a cheap item, I realize. I am too familiar with the student...
