I removed the wall and there was no sag in the ceiling or anything... so I should be a ok. The pillar was not plastic it was about an inch thick but the rest hollow. Any things I should look at over the next couple days just to make sure I dont come crashing through the floor one of these days...

Here are the pictures I am not sure if this is a here for load bearing or not. The pillar is hallow but just want to make sure.
