Shipping bolt maybe? If so, no longer needed right?

So I was troubleshooting my drain pump today and found this piece loose on the bottom right floor of the appliance. Does anyone know what this is?

Thanks! My first job was to go around the building where the owner had me replace floodlights and put Vaseline on bulbs when doing. Anyways- here's the light fixture. I think the outdoor bulbs seem limited in this size.

Now we are talking. I use CFL in some enclosed fixtures outdoors and they seem to last. I looked tonight for some outdoor LED that was this size with no luck.

Isn't that what dielectric grease is for?

Thanks Havasu, I always have a hard time getting them out was why I wondered about the grease.

So I bought this house two years ago and it seems like a battle to keep all of these fixtures lit. Novice here. What bulbs should I be using and isn't it best to treat the bulbs with some sort of grease?

Actually we don't use those. I don't know why we don't - but there's probably a reason :)

Problem solved. I replaced the high limit thermostat and the fuse and it worked.

I think I found the problem. I checked continuity of the thermostat- but I didn't do another test recommended on repair clinic.com where you put the thermostat on a hot plate and check to see if continuity is broken when you exceed 160 degrees. I think then thermostat isn't shutting off.

I have replaced my third thermal fuse just now and am reading on different forums that maybe I should have replaced the high limit thermostat also. Dryer is totally clean of all lint, the exhaust flows freely, and I've checked the continuity of the heating element and thermostat.
