Hahaha i know right?! Sorry guys!

That's what I'm afraid of....what am I going to uncover if I remove it!? I wasn't able to tell by looking inside the cabinets because of the top to the base cabinets. Here's a pic of what I can see. It very much looks like granite or some kind of stone.

Looking under the cabinet did not occur to me! I'll definitely do that. I don't have pictures of the close up but will load some soon.

To be honest I really want to. Do you have any suggestions on how I can do this without damaging the granite?
