How to lay the pattern for pavers

Should I start laying pavers where the rectangles meet in the inside or would it be better to start the paver lay at the walkway corner where the driveway starts?

How to lay the pattern for pavers

I should have mentioned in my first post, the pavers are 4" x 8". Whats seen in the pic is a part of a retaining wall, not pavers. Beachguy thank you, I understand. Thank you MudMixer for excellent points. I will post up a new pic of the base. It was a lot of sweat to get dug down deep...

How to lay the pattern for pavers

Is there a good free utility that will help in laying pavers on a driveway edge that is angled? Im not sure how to lay them since the angles are not 90 degrees.

Laying Pavers Against Driveway Edge (How Far to Dig?)

They are 4 x8 x 2 3/8. Techo Bloc: I found what I was looking for, I suppose since there's a chance of cars going over these pavers, I should follow the clayey driveway chart in the pic.

Laying Pavers Against Driveway Edge (How Far to Dig?)

They are the Holland Stone 2 3/8 " pavers. There is always a chance they could be driven on. But i wanted them mainly to decorate the area a bit more. The place where i bought the pavers said 7" dig is enough. Think ill give the manufacture a call just to see what they say.

Laying Pavers Against Driveway Edge (How Far to Dig?)

I am laying Pavers (first paver project) that are 2.5" in height. in an 80 square foot area to extend the drive way by 2 feet wide and to make a nice walkway along the driveway edge. Would digging 7" down into the soil be enough? I've dug 6" so far with a tiller, which I am very glad I have one...

    Painting Oak Baseboard Trim

I also notice a big difference between Sherwin William's and HD. I have never really compared paints side by side until this bathroom project. One is really sticky even after drying over 48 hours. The other (SW's) is nice and smooth after 48 hours, and a little less odor too.

    Painting Oak Baseboard Trim

The person at Home Depot told me I do not need to prime the trim (bare oak) before painting if I give the trim 1 coat, let it dry, sand it a little, apply second coat. Is this true?

    Barn Door for Powder Room

Actually a door opening outward is better. Had to think about it overnight. A nice solid wood. The opening measures 32 x 6' 8.5".

    Barn Door for Powder Room

Ok Im not sure exactly what a pocket door is, thank you guys for the information. I will look into your suggestions. But I really LOVE a barn door. I see them more and more in home magazines, I think it really fits perfect in a country looking home.

    Barn Door for Powder Room

Silly me..I have the old yucky door, it measures 31 3/4 wide. A sliding door will over-hang the opening by 1 /34 in when fully opened as much as it could be. I think it wouldn't look right, or maybe it would? What are other door options other than a normal door on hinges and a sliding barn...

    Barn Door for Powder Room

How can it be 30" if it measures 32"?

    Barn Door for Powder Room

Hey thanks! I think I made a mistake. The width of the door opening is 32". Facing the door to the left there is a wall and no room for a barn door to slide to the left. To the right there is room for it to slide but not enough room, only 30". Now I have to think of something else. Perhaps...

    Barn Door for Powder Room

Greetings, I have been working on my powder room way too long with procrastination. Now I want to finish it so I can move on. My downstairs powder room is a 25 square feet, with a new floor, new wall tile, new toilet, vanity and sink and hardware. All done by me. The powder room doorway...
