Take a look at your layout. You might want to vent out the side of the house instead of the roof.

    Indoor humidity issue

Ah, fake gas fireplace. Gotcha. Well you got a few options. - Use your fans more often. - You could buy a humidity and have it turn on a fan as required. - Or buy one of the stand alone dehumidifiers. If you had ducted heating you can also get dehumidifiers that will connect with your...

I would honestly wait until you move in to figure out things. You're going to want bath fans and range hoods. That might be where all your moisture is coming from. I would recommend at least getting those sorted out and then going from there.

    Indoor humidity issue

Having tight construction is good, it means you don't lose heat. You wont get condensation on your studs, etc. But it also means that you will maintain humidity better. You might be living in a plastic bag. Do you have any air circulation? What feeds outside? Just the range and bathroom...

the seasons question is a term about what your system goes through. If you don't even have a system then it's more about what you want your potential system to go through. Some people only have one season, others two. Then you can get more technical with things like humidity and such. HVAC...

    Leaning //// wall correction

the outside is OSB (3/8 I believe). I added extra framing to beef up and frame out larger the outside. All new OSB in that area. I also reused some metal angles that help support that ledge you see. After which I framed around them to make it flush. Before they were just out in the open. You...

    Leaning //// wall correction

I question whether these guys just built it crooked. Using a tape it's 25 1/4" at top 27 3/4 on bottom on one stud ( the one by the outlet on the right side. That's measuring off of the far stud on the right side). both the edge studs are level. The floor will be kept.

What sort of heating is in the house now? Do you have return air? If so, is the attic room attached to this return air system? If so, how? The link you provided looks like something I would never use or trust. If you want an HRV system then get something that will return the heat properly...

    Leaning //// wall correction

Hi guys! Fixing up my mobile home. It was built back in the 70s. I noticed after ripping the paneling off my kitchen that the studs on the end of the house are all leaning to the right ///////. Any one know how to fix this? I has seen a couple videos that use comealongs to pull the...
