had my AC condensing unit and inside coil swapped out. I thought i was getting a new 3 ton unit but turns out it's only 2.5 which i discovered a few weeks after because my house seems to be struggling with staying cooler. After i realized and called the guy back he said my inside furnace, Carrier 58dla090-10114, could only handle up to 2.5 ton. I dont know how to figure that out but my receipt shows paid for 3 ton outside unit and inside coil. The Carrier model is old so havent been successful with how to figure this out. Any suggestions? I really dont care about the extra money paid for the 3 ton and only getting a 2.5, I'm just trying to figure out if the guy made a mistake and is now covering saying my inside unit couldnt handle a 3 ton outside. Sorry if i've confused folks!
