Thanks for the info. Good point on the thermal mass. A radiant heater of some type might be good on top of an LP type as a fill in to get that mass warmed to help maintain the heat more efficiently.
course on the same lines...... a trap door to reach the crawl space for maintenance would be a nice feature. Easier than crawling under thru tiny opening outside.
Pier and beam home.
Drop things under the floor boards for max space use in a tiny almost Micro home.
What is your thoughts?
How would one construct this? Prevent moisture issues?? Small storage between floor joist...... not so hard to figure out...... but a
. bed?
. bathtub?
. Washing...
Add a solar water heating unit to add heat to stored water? The in line would then only be needed to bring it up to max temp if it is not there already?
Would not save space except you could lay the water storage tank down horizontal. Would save on $$$ IMHO

Additional good info in this one. Had not seen it yet. Thanks.

While it has an electric cook top now........ I did consider swapping to a LP unit. I was given an LP unit w/stove that needs repair. Presently there is an apartment sized fridge under cook top but could move this over onto counter on other side you don't have to stoop ...... which would open...
Budget is not fitting anything fancy...... it is either grungy looking old corrugated metal (for cost and aesthetics) or new stuff which does sit in the price range. Anything fancier AKA powder coated etc. is not in the price range.
you speak true Kemosabe. I'm open to suggestions.
