1 1/2” hardware install on 1 1/4” doors
Need help! Replacing all the hideous, worn out interior door knobs and hinges in matte black. Working on the farmhouse again. We encountered two original doors that are only 1 1/4 thick. All new hardware is made for 1 1/2” or thicker doors. Is there what I would call a giant washer type thing...- Beth.askinc

Glad to be here!
We live in a farmhouse that was built in 1946 by the original owner. Lots of quirks, as expected. Last owner made an addition on the back side of the home. Not sure I’m too impressed with his DIY skills. Issues pop up with regularity. For big stuff we’ve hired out but try to do a lot of the work...- Beth.askinc
