We live in a farmhouse that was built in 1946 by the original owner. Lots of quirks, as expected. Last owner made an addition on the back side of the home. Not sure I’m too impressed with his DIY skills. Issues pop up with regularity. For big stuff we’ve hired out but try to do a lot of the work ourselves.
I’ve never been a farmhouse style gal but when in Rome…We’re trying to get the interior to have a more farmhouse feel now that we’ve been here a few years. We’ve installed several new “farmhouse” light fixtures that I’ve built and we’re currently upgrading door hardware.

Very nice farmhouse.

My old house was an old farmhouse and they have a special charm. The owners before me tried to make it 60s modern and I tried to turn it back to like it was.
