Hi - we installed pergo outlast plus in our living room/kitchen (open floor plan). On just the kitchen side we filled the expansion gap with foam backer rod and added caulk to the 1/4 round where it contacts the floor as recommended by the install instructions.
However we accidentally used “Alex Acrylic Latex Plus Silicone” caulk instead of 100% silicone as recommended (an accident). So my question is, will the latex caulk with silicone additives be flexible enough to allow for expansion and contraction?
