"Blueprint" software

I am planning plumbing, electrical and landscape projects and would like to find free or low cost software I can use to make construction design drawings. My post title says "blueprint" because I would prefer something that makes plan-view and cross-section drawings, not 3D architectural renderings. Any suggestions? Thanks.

There is a cad program called delta cad that is free or almost free that isn’t to bad and not to hard to learn. Its only 2d. would work fine for floor plans etc.
