I've been thinking about building a floor over this area to match level of surrounding concrete, and possibly creating a small space below for some of my tools. If you have ideas on how to build this, with enough strength to support about 1" of concrete leveler, let me know. I want to maximize storage space, while still providing a strong floor.
some questions I'm considering: how many floor joists are needed for this 76L x 32w x15h space? Do I need separate buried concrete footings, or just use simpson brackets to bolt 4x4 (or just 2x4?) support beams into existing concrete below?
