hi folks, im wondering if you all might have an opinion on something. i'd appreciate any tips.
today is the last day of refinishing on the floors of my new home. a second coat of poly goes down today on all 3 floors. my question:
as this is the last time the entire house will be empty, and the floors unoccupied, should i do a 3rd or 4th coat of poly now? i got several quotes for the refinishing job, and one of them said they do 4 coats of poly, as opposed to 2. should i eat the extra 2 days of curing, and do another one or two coats, or just leave it at the first 2 coats that are already down? thanks for the advice.
