Garlic!

Along with winterizing the garden, I planted my garlic. Maybe it was a week or two early, but it's the last chance I'll have until mid November.

I planted 10 rows with 7 in each and one row of 6. Included were Music, Transylvanian, Spanish Roja, Siberian, Red Torch and others.

These are looking good! At least 90% of them are up, some only 1/2", some 4". All are green and healthy. Could be a good year for garlc!

As for the '06 harvest, I think we are down to the last 3 or 4 bulbs. Next year we won't give so many away...

you should make garlic wine, and use it in any italian recipe calling for white wine. oh man, soooo good.
