So I will start off by saying my house was built in 2002 and is just a cookie cutter home i bought in my 20s. Over the years my wife and kids would close my living room windows turn the lock without the window being all the way closed. The latch wont even line up with the groove it was designed for. This has bent almost every window in this house into a half moon shape. I now have insane amounts of outside air leaking in. Is there anyway i can straighten these windows out? They are cheap builders grade vinyl windows I would assume. Any tips or tricks would be much appreciated. Do I just have to start replacing them? I have been in the hvac industry for 20 yrs so i consider myself pretty knowledgeable when it comes to anything that needs to be fixed or replaced in a residential home. Before I start knocking the old ones out and installing new ones I figured I should get someone elses opinion. Thanks
