Need some help please

I am building a portable work table and I want to mount a four plug box on it that can then be plugged into a wall outlet. This will give me four plugs at the work bench. I don't know what the four plug box and cord are called therefore can not find it. Help?

Why not just mount a power strip? It is fused and typically has mounting brackets on the back for easy mount/dismount........

I built a bench for my son-in-law and just secured a power strip to the side.

Duh. I guess I never thought about the easy way. Boys will be boys. Why buy when you can build. Good idea thanks for helping me see the forest through the trees.

If your power strip will be supplying motors you may want to get one with a circuit breaker that can handle the startup current surge without nuisance tripping.

I just used a bunch of duplex outlets with metal outlet boxes mounted in a line.
