New HVAC Install Issue

My mother had her HVAC unit replaced. There was some sort of issue with the unit and they left some gauges on it, outside. It has been 10 days. Should I be concerned?

They said that there was an issue and that they had to return for some reason. Do you think that it has been leaking refrigerant with the gauges on for that long? Can that damage the unit?

These are a forgotten set. It won't harm your system. You can remove them or wait for the tech to return to remove them. Are the caps laying around somewhere?
If your system was under a vacuum then I would say they were left there on purpose but, according to the gauges, this is not the case (unless you do have a leak and the gauges are no longer at or below zero.

Yeah, it’s better to leave the gauges there for a while and if you’re concerned about how it might affect your HVAC, then you can always call the tech to have it removed.
