Hi. Just posting here since it looks like that's what I'm supposed to do. I'm just a homeowner short on cash and trying to maximize my home repairs dollars by figuring out as much as possible ourselves! Looking forward to learning from you people.

Try to word your questions well . Think about it , then read it after you have written it .

Remember , you do not ask the right question , you will most likely not get the right answer .

Let me give you a tip , right up front . On electrical , before you take any wires apart , turn the power off .

Then number / label all the wires & terminals . Make a list of what goes where . Then take several GOOD photos .
