If you want to learn how things work, take an exam and get free hands on training...it is possible.
My suggestion for those who want to see up close how things work and go together, is to go to www.habitat.org .
You will meet plenty of folks who know about helping others, and a thing or two about homes.
Do yourself a great favor, learn some valuable information while helping someone in need.

Getting off soap box.:D

It's still available.,:D
Want to learn more about a home and help people, maybe even yourself.

I have also found, that even though I am no longer in construction, that having a Class A license is valuable (not just for gaining projects), but the info that I learned while reading through the books to take the exam was very helpful.

NOVA Pros

They even have instalation videoes from the pro's in the field.
Try www.jlconline.com.
Learn to do it right. Then fire in some questions.;)

your plugging this Free construction training, there such no fee's out there?

Just find it on the computer and learn.:)
I recommend this site because it has good information about a home being built in your area of the USA, and they let you help. Many folks are there to help out and learn from the professionals who volunteer their time.
So it does cost something, your time.
However you get that great feeling when you are done of helping those who need it.
Have fun.
