    No suggestions/opinions?

    Compressed Air Plumbing options

I have a leak in a short length of black pipe where it goes into the regulator valve. There is no convenient way to tighten the line. Any recommendations as to a sealant? Am afraid if I use JB Weld, it may cause more problems than it solves?

Post a photo you've taken, any photo.

    Australian truck/ute

I am very familiar with the ute and, for the life of me, cannot understand why they were never offered in the the U.S. market? Seems to me they would sell well? Probably not enough profit margin would be my guess as to why they are not made available here?

How have you arranged your tools and work areas?

I too second the use of, and actually do use, pegboard. All the walls in my garage have 4' x 8' 1/4" pegboard on them. I have separate areas for mechanic tools, wood working tools, etc. The nicest thing about it is, all tools are out in the open/visible. There is a place for everything, and...

What have you done for an overhead hoist??

I thought you were talking about mounting a trolley on an I-beam that spanned the width of the garage. Such a device would give you hoisting capabilities at any point along the length of the I-beam.

What have you done for an overhead hoist??

My 2 cents is that the gantry device you provided a link to would be in the way more often than I would like. The overhead would not have that problem. Guess it is a matter of convenience vs. dollars$

    Humble 3 Car

I have one on the wall in my garage. It has a pcb inside so that it cycles like a normal traffic light. I like it. It took some good/strong mounting as those suckers are heavy!

    welcome to the doghouse

Why did you need the piece of wood? How is the wood mounted to the pegboard?

    Garage heating.

I have electric baseboard heating in the garage. Used only when necessary and only to spot heat the stall where I am working in my 3-car garage.

    extended height 4 post hoist??

I do not know about the lift, but I can tell you that unless you have very liberal building code inspectors, or a TON of money, your proposal is going to run into difficulties. There are very severe restrictions/requirements for below ground vehicle repair/storage facilities that deal with such...

    Routing "Hard" Compressed Air Lines

I did it on my own. Doing so included pre-install investigation of options and costs. The so-called "kits" turned out to be far more expensive than black pipe. I have lines on the back and side walls of my 3-bay garage, 4 drops and drains. Except for grappling with 6 ft. long sections of...

Is this a problem with my garage door or the automatic opener?

My guess is that the reason it stops at the same point every time is that it is in a bind. Something is out of line.
