Would you paint a shed floor?

I'm just finishing my new shed, and wondering if I should paint the floor before I start moving stuff in. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Is there a benefit to painting? Would the plywood last longer painted? What paint should I use that won't scratch off? Thanks

    Stump Removal

Yes, it will be a raised floor, and the stump won't be in the way. I was thinking of just leaving it there as well, just wasn't sure if it would continue to grow.

    Stump Removal

I’m starting to build a new shed next week, and just realized where the shed is going is where a crap apple tree is. I’m planning to cut the tree down, but I’m concerned about the stump. Caulk

I need to caulk where the brick and wood siding meet in the front of my house. I noticed the old caulk has pulled away leaving a gap and I’ve noticed after a lot of rain the inside wall of my garage is wet. Thanks

    Crumbling steps

Thanks for the response. Since this was almost a year ago I can't remember exactly what I did, or why. But it seems like I read on something from Quikrete that it is best to use some type of additive like the Hardener. I'll have to see if I can find any left over stuff in the garage, hopefully...

    Crumbling steps

I have an issue with crumbling concrete steps that I hope someone here can help me with. House was built in 1948, the step are original as far as I know. Former owners painted the porch, and then at some point they were covered with outdoor carpet; I assume to conceal the deterioration. Last...
