    Garage Office Inspiration

    These guys are so helpful... not haha. Garage office would be cool. Lay down a hard wearing thin rug that you can roll up and dry out if it gets wet, this will define your workspace. Hang some down and up lights off some suspended cable tray. Set your self up with a table made from a door...

    Travel Tubes?

    For what purpose? Drug smuggling? ;) We built a cable way into a commercial project we completed recently. A lid can be lifted and all cables and pipework accessed at any point. This was for a technology teaching space.

    Difficult Garage features?

    Ya. Anyway, smashed down the wall, smashed out the slab, will re-pour it at the same level all through, so trolley jack can now slide where it needs to go, and car has enough front end space. Same old story "Do it once do it right"

    dumb bells or bar bell poll

    Both, I lift more with the barbell as it is easier to keep the weight balanced. But the dumbells will give you greater range of motion which is good for strengthening your core as you try to keep them straight. That raises the question... how do you all store your weights?

    How to raise the ceiling

    There are any ways... but we need more info... Disconnect then prop roof. Add new framing, or just strategic posts. Reattach. Be aware that when you lengthen the studs you will reduce their effective bracing capacity, so consult the building code of your area, or speak with an Architect.

    Our Garage two frustrating features. 1. It is only just long enough to fit the car. 2. There is a 6" high concrete pad at the back end meaning I have to park the car in reverse to avoid hitting the sump. Then once you park the car in reverse it becomes difficult to get light to the engine...
