Hey !
Hired daughter to remove wallpaper from bathroom walls - the walls were left gouged and the paper from the drywall is torn out all over the place. The damage is everywhere. The wife wants to paint the walls, but being a autobody man I know the walls need to be repaired before we can...
It is a new Frigidaire unit and the only specs I found on it were as follows: "All electric cooktops run off a single phase, 3-wire or 4-wire cable, 240/208volt, 60 hertz, AC only electrical supply with ground."
The length of wire needed to wire my cooktop is approx. 20 feet. I have 2 questions:
1.) What size wire should I use ?
2.) What size (amps) circuit breaker should I use ?
Thanks again.
John from NC
As it turns out, my house is wired with aluminum (bummer). I want to run a new circuit to my cooktop using copper wire.
Question: Can I install a circuit breaker into the existing box and wire my cooktop with copper ?

Just bought a Frigidaire Stainless Steel cooktop to replace an ancient Jenn Aire unit. I need help wiring this thing.
The cable from the cooktop has three wires - Red, Black and Green coming out of a length of flexible conduit (Simple looking enough)...
