Hey guys, we were wondering if it is ok to put, lets say a 9"-10" thick insulation in a 6" space? Is it ok to pack it down to make it fit in there? Are there any pros or cons to doing this? Thanks.

Hey guys, the wood ceiling in our crawlspace is untreated at the moment. Would you guys recommend any type of "treat" or protection to coat the wood with? or is it safe to leave as is? The wood right now is not pressure treated, just natural. btw, the walls are concrete. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your help. Ya we hired someone to do this but ended up putting the siding vertical instead of horizontal so they had to rip them off. Now we're waiting for new siding and the wood is actually OSB, but the house looks like its covered with the wrap. No tape beween where the wrap meets...
