Thanks for all the replies. The width measurements are from stud to stud w/ trim removed and there are no sidelight panels. The door exits to the balcony/deck, which has no roof. Thinking we'll probably just replace with the same center-hinged type door.
We need to replace our patio door. We currently have a center-hinged inswing door with a rough opening at 60Wx80H. We would really like to have a sliding door w/ screen so that we could keep it open and enjoy the breeze without using the space of an inswing door.
