I know, but I am in an apartment building. They do not offer a spicket for us to use to wash cars. I am on the first floor, and have a street right behind me that I could use so my idea is that I could take the pipe that the shower head connects on to and remove it from the wall. This is a screw in pipe....correct? I can get the parts from Home Depot to make a piece in the middle that will have a spicket on it, so I can just attach a 50 foot hose or so, and run it right out my patio and into the street so I can wash my own car.

What do you guys think of my idea? Too crazy? LoL

You could do that, but you also could just figure out where they have a spiggot hidden. :)

They also just sell a kit which attaches to your sink faucet to connect right to a hose.
They use em for waterbeds.
Sometimes you need a special wrench to turn on the outside APT faucets. They have them at plumbing supply stores.
